Use Webinars For Training And Marketing

I’ve been surprised that more people don’t use webinars for training and overall marketing purposes. At one time the options for webinars were rather limited and the cost was prohibitive for individuals and very small businesses. However, that is no longer the case.

In addition to the several free webinar services, anyone can now access the more sophisticated programs through WebEx, Go To Meeting, or Go To Webinar. Their costs are reasonable as long as you have less than 25 in attendance on the webinar at any one time. It can get expensive for large groups, but by having frequent smaller groups in attendance you can keep the cost down. They allow you to conduct as many webinars as you want during a month for a flat monthly fee.

Webinars allow you to capture what’s on your computer screen and share it with your participants. You can then have the audio over phone lines or through computer speakers, or both. This allows for interaction of the instructor with those being trained and as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words.

If you have never tried to conduct a webinar you really should go to one or more of the major providers and take them up on their free trial to see how easy it is. Once you give it a try you will probably come up with a number of different ways it can benefit your business.
